‘Barking’ Success for Hill’s Shelter Campaign
Sometimes a campaign comes along for the greater good and it’s an absolute joy to work on! We recently wrapped up a campaign for Hill’s Pet Nutrition to support animals in shelters. The main objective of the campaign was to encourage consumers to post a selfie on social and in turn Hill’s would donate a bowl of food to animals in need, so our strategy was to drive consumer awareness and engagement via influencer marketing, organic content, paid for activity and consumer PR.
We worked with TV star and radio presenter, Gemma Atkinson who is well known for her love of her dogs Ollie and Norman, as well as having a very healthy social following. We also partnered with handpicked micro-influencers to create buzz, excitement and of course, heaps of selfies across social media. The campaign was a huge success, leading to over 14.2k engagements across Instagram with a total reach in excess of 680k and over 27.8k total engagements on Facebook.
The campaign was a huge success, with 100,000 meals donated to shelter pets in need across Europe. Work continues by Hill’s Pet Nutrition in helping even more shelter pets get the second chance they deserve.
