When Didsbury Gin decided to return its sell-out Manchester Tart flavour with a charity partnership, the Clarion team sprang into action.
To raise maximum awareness of the product and that £5 for every bottle sold is donated to EMERGE 3Rs, a charity that aims to fight food waste and poverty in Greater Manchester, we tapped into our relationships and used tactical gifting to secure the help of 12 celebrities and influencers.
The likes of IntheFrow, Nathan Massey and Shaun Ryder created 19 posts to date reaching a potential 7 million followers (and counting). None of these were paid for! – and over 70% included direct links back to the Didsbury website.
In addition, media coverage was secured across national, regional, consumer and trade media – reaching a further 3 million people – including an interview with Ian King Live on Sky News. Now that’s one to raise a glass to!
