We’ve today announced the launch of ‘Bright Sparks’ Creative Challenge in partnership with Creative Alliance.
The creative shootout designed for students and apprentices, will see 18–30-year-olds from across the country given the opportunity to try their hand at responding to a PR brief. Up to 10 shortlisted entrants will then get the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges for their chance to win £1,000 and a paid 2-week internship at our agency.
The judging panel will be made up of some of our clients, including Wickes, who set the brief, and Aldi, as well as a Creative Alliance representative and our CEO, Amanda Meyrick.
The challenge builds on the recent launch of our Bright Sparks Gen Z panel, a future-focused initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of PR talent.
Clarion Managing Partner and head of the agency’s DE&I Council, Clare Sutton says: “This challenge sprang from brainstorming sessions with our Gen Z panel on how we can attract potential PR superstars of the future into the industry. Their feedback was that there’s nothing more valuable than first-hand experience. We wanted to do that in a way that injects some fun, while reaching as broad a young audience possible – thus, the Bright Sparks Creative Challenge was born.
James Ellis, Business Development Manager from Creative Alliance says: “At Creative Alliance we’re all about providing young people the opportunity they deserve, so it’s great to be working with Clarion on an initiative that’s designed to give people the chance to experience PR industry for themselves – and in such a unique and enjoyable way.”
The competition is now open for entry here; https://creativealliance.org.uk/bright-sparks-creative-challenge/
