After taking home Grand Prix Campaign of the Year at the IPM Awards last September, we’re delighted to once again be shortlisted by the Institute of Promotional Marketing for one of our activations alongside our events partner, Hopper.
Our ‘Aldi saves Valentine’s Day’ campaign, where we opened Aldi’s first-ever flower stall in one of the UK’s busiest train stations, London Waterloo, to offer busy commuters the chance to buy Aldi’s high-quality flowers at Aldi prices, shocked and delighted busy commuters.
The stall, which saw all money donated to Aldi’s charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust, offered a dozen red roses for just £4.49 – little wonder it was jam-packed throughout the time it was open, selling out three-times over. It also generated over 150 pieces of media coverage, including The Sun, Mail Online and City AM, to name but a few.
The IPM Awards ceremony, which recognises the best in promotional marketing, is on Friday 19th September. Wish us luck!
