Border Biscuit’s Birthday Bash

To celebrate Border’s 40th birthday, we developed a plan of activity, including a business interview in The Herald and hand delivering some very special birthday cakes to consumer and trade media houses to engage and excite key customers and consumers - and celebrate the premium biscuit brand’s big ‘four oh’ in style.

Targeting some of Scotland’s top breakfast and drivetime radio presenters and tier 1 print media, we created a range of spectacular birthday cakes – handmade in the shape of some of Border’s best loved biscuits and personally delivered by the Clarion team to studios and media houses. 

Running parallel to this, we gifted some of Scotland’s top foodie influencers with a Border Biscuit Party Pack, including bunting, a personalised biscuit jar and some of Border’s best loved biscuits, giving them free rein to generate content with Border’s products front and centre.

The results were outstanding, with all broadcast media mentioning the celebrations live on air or posting on social media and 80% of the influencers gifted posting through their channels.
