Clarion And The Shard Illuminate London For VE Day’s 80th Anniversary

We were honoured to support The Shard as it launched on unforgettable tribute marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. As a powerful symbol of remembrance. The Shard stood tall as a beacon of reflection and unity, lighting up the London skyline with a stunning representation of the Union Flag.

This display formed a key part of a city-wide tribute, joining other iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Trafalgar Square, as the capital paused to honour the sacrifices and resilience that defined the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Our task was to drive awareness of The Shard’s involvement, working closely with the in-house team. We successfully positioned The Shard as an integral part of VE Day commemorations securing coverage across The Telegraph,  Secret London, and some standout broadcast features on BBC, Sky News and ITV Good Morning Britain.
