Clarion Launches New Washington Wines to the UK

Clarion has expanded its work with Berkmann Wines: Last week our award-winning BWS team launched Valdemar Estates to the UK.

Valdemar Estates is a new Washington venture from Valdemar Family, renowned for its legacy of winemaking in Spain’s Rioja region. The state-of-the-art winery in Walla Walla Valley is pushing boundaries and already receiving significant acclaim elsewhere in the world. Our job was to bring that same buzz to the UK wine trade.

To do that, we launched the wines at an exclusive event at beautiful Basque restaurant Lurra. The team hosted an intimate dinner for media and influencers with CEO and fifth-generation owner, Jesús Martínez Bujanda.

At the dinner, guests got to enjoy the three pioneering wines, which combine old-world winemaking techniques with new-world creativity, alongside some delicious Spanish dishes. Media and influencers were also treated to three of Valdemar’s premium single vineyard Spanish wines.
