Showcasing The Gastronomic Qualities Of Champagne Lanson

Head Winemaker at Champagne Lanson, Hervé Dantan, took some time out from viticulture in Reims to host an intimate dining experience and Champagne pairing for trade and consumer drinks media in London, alongside the Clarion team.

The evening celebrated the announcement of one Michelin Star Chef and owner of The Ninth Restaurant in Fitzrovia, Jun Tanaka, becoming Ambassador of Champagne Lanson in the UK – an exciting collaboration that highlights the Champagne’s versatility as a pairing for dishes throughout a meal, not just for celebratory occasions!

There was reason to celebrate as Champagne Lanson announced the reinterpretation of its rosé Champagne (the no.1 rosé in the UK), to be named Le Rosé Création. Welcoming the latest blend (number 67) with a brand-new look, it was savoured alongside chargrilled seabass served with green strawberries (a nod to their Wimbledon heritage), and Amalfi lemon tart - is your tummy rumbling yet?

With drinks trade and consumer media already swooning over the pairings, this is the start of a pioneering gastronomic message for the brand. Watch this space for more coverage incoming soon…
