Clarion has switched on the festive season in style, delivering widespread national and London coverage for The Shard’s heartwarming 2025 Christmas light display – a spectacular light show designed entirely by 12 members of its own staff.

From housekeepers and security managers to accountants and graphic designers, the amateur artists – led by self-taught impressionist and housekeeper Gustavo Zuluaga Villegas – have transformed the top 20 storeys of the UK’s tallest building into a 60-minute continuous light show featuring reindeer, starry skies and the word ‘London’.

Running nightly from 4pm – midnight (and 5:30am – 7:30am for early commuters) until New Year’s Eve, the display has captured the capital’s imagination.

Clarion’s targeted media campaign spotlighted the human-interest angle of The Shard empowering its own diverse workforce, securing prominent broadcast and print features across London titles and national outlets – topped off with a BBC lunchtime feature and a live evening news slot.

A Christmas cracker for our team – and the perfect excuse for a slightly longer commute past London Bridge this December!
