Clarion Bolsters Senior Leadership With New Managing Director and Executive Creative Director
We’ve significantly bolstered our senior leadership team to support our continued growth. Rebecca Wainwright has been promoted to Managing Director, and the agency welcomes Amy Jones as its new Executive Creative Director.
The promotion sees Rebecca Wainwright, who has been with Clarion for over a decade, step into the role of Managing Director. Having most recently led and grown the agency’s B2B division with great success, she will now work alongside CEO Amanda Meyrick in the overall running and continued growth of the entire agency.
Joining the senior team is Amy Jones, who takes on the role of Executive Creative Director. Amy joins from Hope & Glory, where she spent the last decade building an award-winning creative team and delivering standout work for a raft of major retail, third sector, entertainment, and FMCG brands. In her new role, Amy will be responsible for spearheading Clarion’s creative output, supporting existing clients with innovative solutions, and fostering creative development across the agency.
Amanda Meyrick, CEO of Clarion, commented: “As Clarion continues to grow, it’s vital that our leadership structure evolves to support our ambitions and, most importantly, our people. Promoting Rebecca was a natural choice; she has been a formidable force within the agency for over ten years, and her strategic insight and dedication – to both Clarion and our clients – are second to none. I’m also thrilled to welcome Amy to the team. Her reputation for brilliant, award-winning creative work speaks for itself, and her energy will be invaluable as we continue to push boundaries for our clients. This is a very exciting new chapter for Clarion.”
Rebecca Wainwright, the new Managing Director, said: “Having been part of the Clarion family since 2011, I am incredibly proud and fully committed to stepping into the Managing Director role. Having witnessed the agency go from strength to strength over the years, I look forward to partnering with Amanda to help guide our incredibly talented team and build on the fantastic work we deliver for our clients. It’s a privilege to help steer Clarion into its next phase of growth.”
Amy Jones, Clarion’s new Executive Creative Director, added: “Clarion already has a proven track record that speaks for itself, but what drew me in are the ambitious plans for the next stage of evolution. I’m excited to work alongside this incredibly talented team to supercharge our creative offering, driving the agency’s next chapter of growth, together.”
These leadership appointments come at a time of significant momentum for the agency. Clarion was recently named an ‘Inspiring Workplace’ for the second consecutive year and climbed to 88th place in PRWeek’s annual ranking of the UK’s top 150 PR consultancies.
