Bodega Norton marked its 130th anniversary with a series of exclusive events showcasing the winery’s heritage, craftsmanship, and iconic Malbecs.
On 8th September, Head Norton Winemaker, David Bonomi guided journalists and influencers through an exclusive media tasting at Kensington Roof Gardens, sharing insights into Norton’s history, terroir, and dedication to quality. Guests then sampled the ultra-limited Norton 130 Años Magnum Malbec, crafted from a single historic vineyard and aged in French oak, followed by a rare Malbec Vintage 1974, offering a unique glimpse into the winery’s legacy and the evolution of its wines over nearly five decades.
The anniversary celebrations continued with an immersive day in Cambridge, where guests experienced Norton’s rich heritage firsthand, exploring the history behind the iconic 130th anniversary blend.
Despite train strikes affecting travel, we secured 100% attendance from top-tier trade and consumer media, plus influencers, providing the opportunity to showcase Norton’s milestone to influential voices in the wine industry.
From historic vintages to contemporary releases, the anniversary tastings combined elegance, storytelling, and strategic media engagement, celebrating 130 years of one of Argentina’s most enduring and respected wineries.
